What verification means — honestly

Before anyone can publish an offer, a SWAP FX administrator reviews their application: their details, a phone-verification code, and a passport-style face photo. This is an administrator review, not an independent verification of anyone's legal identity. A face photo alone cannot prove who someone is.

Protect yourself

• Start with small amounts with someone new.
• Meet in a public place when exchanging in person.
• Never share bank logins, OTPs, or ID documents over chat.
• Agree the rate, amount, and meeting details in writing on WhatsApp before exchanging.
• SWAP FX never holds your money — anyone asking you to "send funds to SWAP FX" is scamming you.

Verification reduces risk; it does not guarantee any transaction. You remain responsible for agreeing terms and completing your own payments.
